A new year means a new series of Samsung Galaxy S phones, and with it a new set of colors. But Samsung seems to be doing things a little differently with the Samsung Galaxy S23 line than in previous years.
With the Samsung Galaxy S22 series, we saw one set of colors for the S22 and Galaxy S22 Plus phones, and another set for the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, but with the S23 series, leaks indicate that all three phones will be available in the same shades. .
So below, you’ll find all the shades we’ve heard of the Samsung Galaxy S23 line, with all the most likely options expected for each phone.
cotton flower
One shade we’ve heard is cotton flower, which based on leaked photos, like the one above, is likely a cream or off-white shade. We’ve heard elsewhere mention of beige, which probably also refers to this.
Multiple sources mentioned a color along these lines and the leaked photos showed this shade, strongly suggesting that this would be an option.
It’s not the most inspiring finish, judging by the images we’ve seen, but white always seems to be a popular color regardless, and this might be the closest Samsung Galaxy S23 series comes to.
This also looks different than any Samsung Galaxy S22 shade — there was a cream color shown there, but that was more of a yellow. The S22 series is also available in pure white.
Hazy night
Misty Lilac appears to be a fancy name for the pink, judging by the leaked photos you can see above. This shade has also been mentioned a few times, so it will likely be offered at launch.
It appears to be a very light pink, paler and less understated shade of rose gold that the Samsung Galaxy S22 could have. So, this is also a shade that the current models just don’t have.
green vegan
We’ve also heard several references to the shade of green, with one source claiming this is called Botanic Green, and sharing photos of how it looks.
This is a bit more interesting and unusual than the previous two options, but it may also prove less popular as a result. It looks vaguely similar to the Galaxy S22’s shade of green, but it’s a bit lighter and fancier.
Phantom Black
Phantom Black is a classic Samsung shade we’ve seen before. It’s also just black, and it’s one of the most recognizable and popular smartphones in general.
Of course, there is more than one type of lions, and this one appears to be a completely muted pale black that goes by the leaked photos.
It’s another color we’ve heard of a few times, so besides this popular color choice, we’re expecting to see it.
Light gold / rose gold
The four colors above currently look like the shades we’ll likely see, but at least one source has mentioned that there might be a light gold or rose gold option.
Now, there is a pink color on top, so they could indicate that, but the leaked images don’t say there is anything golden about that color, so this could be something different. We wouldn’t count on seeing it if that was the case, because it wasn’t mentioned widely.
white
White isn’t a color we’ve heard by name for the Samsung Galaxy S23 series, but a leak showed dummy units of the three phones in a white shade, which looks different from the cotton flower color above.
So we can’t rule out this color, but we’re also less convinced we’ll see this compared to other rumored shades.
Other shades are possible
While the aforementioned colors are all specific shades we’ve heard about, a source has said that there may be additional shades that are exclusive to Samsung stores.
This would not be unusual for the company, so it is believable, and here we may see some variation in the color options of each model, with some shades of the Galaxy S23 Ultra that cannot be obtained in the other two phones, and vice versa.
It’s not clear what shades that might be — unless it’s the less rumored light gold or white above — but there are plenty of possibilities. The Samsung Galaxy S22 series is available in all kinds of colors that Samsung can choose; Including Sky Blue, Burgundy, Red, Violet and other options.
Of course, the company opts for something vintage, or new shades it hasn’t offered before.
