We’ve previously heard from multiple sources that the Samsung Galaxy S23 series may only come in four colours, but we haven’t seen what all those colors actually look like – but now we might know.
leaky snoopy tech (Opens in a new tab) He has shared renders of the Samsung Galaxy S23 and Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra in all four rumored shades – namely Cotton Flower (cream shade), Misty Lilac, Botanic Green, and Phantom Black.
If this leak — and others — are true, and these two phones come in these colors, it’s likely the Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus, though that phone isn’t pictured here.
Of course we’ll take these feedbacks with a pinch of salt, but the source does claims to be “confirmed” (Opens in a new tab) These pictures are accurate. In addition, some of these colors have been shown in other images, and the design of the phones is completely in line with other leaks as well.
This means that the standard Samsung Galaxy S23 looks like it will get a new camera design, with the metal housing removed from the Samsung Galaxy S22 so that the lenses are installed individually. This is the main visual change that we expect.
Analysis: Boring selection, but there’s reason to be skeptical
Although this is not the first time we have heard of these colors being mentioned for the Samsung Galaxy S23 series, there is a possibility that this leak could be false or incomplete.
Samsung usually offers a slightly different set of colors for its Ultra models than other phones, so the identical selections here seem odd.
Plus, the company occasionally offers exclusive shades on its site that may not be accounted for here, and has been known to release additional colors at a later date, too. So there may be other options.
We certainly hope so, because the Samsung Galaxy S22 series is available in a wide range of colors, with not only more options but arguably more interesting ones too, such as Bora Purple and burgundy.
All of the colors offered here appear to be a bit faded, muted shades, and while the green model is arguably more interesting, there was also a green option last year, so it’s nothing new. Hopefully, more shades will be introduced next, as that should help these phones stand out among the best Android phones.
