How To Launch Your Website With WebsiteBaker: Preparation
Before you can run a website with WebsiteBaker, there are a few things you’ll need to do. The first is to find the right web host. This provides the storage and processing power required to display your location whenever someone visits it.

To get your website up and running, you’ll also need a domain name. Hostinger offers affordable and streamlined domain registration services.

Installing the WebsiteBaker script with Hostinger’s automatic installer took us less than a minute, and we were able to head to our CMS dashboard and start customizing our website right away.
The best way to manage your WebsiteBaker installation is to go back to Auto Installer. Here, you will see a list of your existing installations with options to manage or delete them.
Step 1: Add pages
First, you’ll want to add the required pages to your WebsiteBaker. Head to the Pages tab on the main menu, where you will find a list of currently pinned pages that you can edit or delete.
You can also add additional pages, and there are two different pre-installed page types available, including form and news layouts.
Step 2: Install add-ons (if needed)
One of the best things about WebsiteBaker is that it enables you to load many add-ons. For starters, you can install custom modules that enable you to add any required functionality to your website. You can also uninstall existing modules if they are no longer needed.
Moreover, WebsiteBaker enables you to upload custom templates. You can purchase them from many third-party retailers, and there are plenty of free downloadable options available online. You can also add and remove languages if needed.

Step 3: Refine your design
The basis is what you see is what you get (WYSIWYG) editor very similar to programs like Microsoft Word, it enables you to customize each page exactly as required. It’s certainly not the most user-friendly interface we’ve used, but it’s actually quite powerful once you get a feel for the nuances.
You can add multiple blocks per page, allowing you to customize headers, footers, sidebars, and main body blocks individually. There is also a code import tool if you already have your website coded.
WebsiteBaker’s media management tools are some of their best selling points. It enables you to create custom media folders to help you store photos and other media, and you can upload multiple files at once.
It’s a good idea to learn how to use this very early on, as it will make your life a lot easier.
Step 5: Configure your site settings
Before you can launch your new WebsiteBaker, you must configure your website’s general settings. Head to the Settings tab on the main menu bar, where you will find a number of configuration options.
You can add important SEO information like meta title, meta description, and meta keywords. You can also customize global headers and footers. At the bottom of the page, you’ll be able to set important things like your language and time zone.
Several advanced settings are available that enable you to configure your server, add advanced search information, and more.
Step 6: Test, test, and test some more!
Last but not least is the importance of taking the time to test your website before you launch it. Make sure to test it on different devices and browsers, clicking on each page to make sure everything looks and works as it should.
It’s also a good idea to ask friends and family members to roll their eyes at you. It’s amazing how many small mistakes you can miss when you’re staring at the same screen for hours on end!
